 RULES AND REGULATIONS OF DEBATE 1.All participants will get a total time of 5 minutes. After 4 minutes a warning bell will ring and after 1 minute the final bell will ring. 2.Any participant exceeding the time limit of 5 minutes will get negative marks. 3.One participant for the motion and one participant against the motion will be selected for the final debate. 4.After every speaker finishes his/her debate, two minutes will be alloted for rebuttal the test i.e. to answer qustions by members of the opposing team. Tis rebuttal will be in the form of short and precise questions asked by the members of the competing teams, on the content of the speaker's presentation. In case, no question is asked wihin 10 seconds, the moderator will remind the competitors that if no question is asked within the next ten seconds, then the judges will give full marks for rebuttal to the speaker. |
