At the outset, I must emphasise that we are committed to provide you the right kind of academic ambience at CIT with active participation of all faculty and staff. Our dedicated, sincere and experienced faculty members are our most important assets. All laboratories, as per WBUT curriculum, are in place. The Library with Book Bank facility is automated with LIBSYS and is a member of INDEST- AICTE consortium for IEEE - IEL e-Resources.

I would like to tell you that Teaching-Learning process at CIT requires your regular attendance in the class and if you fail to obtain requisite attendance you will be debarred from appearing in the University Examination.

We believe 'all work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy'. Therefore, our Students' Committees are actively pursuing various Cultural, Sports and Technical activities under the guidance of faculty members for holistic development of the students,

In closing, may I remind you that as a student of engineering college, you belong to the privileged section of our society. After graduation it will be your life,full of sense of accomplishment. Nonetheless, do not forget your societal commitments for inclusive Growth of our fellow countrymen.
