Prof. Arup Kumar Marik presently working as Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, Camillia Institute of Technology since January 2017. He obtained his B.E. degree in Civil Engineering from Jadavpur University and M.E. degree in Structural Engineering from Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur (Presently IIEST Shibpur). He has 35 years Industrial Experience in the field of various type of Civil Engineering design and Construction works. Associated with design and construction of Second Hooghly River Bridge project (presently Vidyasagar Setu) from the client end. Associated with Urban Planning, different structural projects including Interchanges & Flyover, culvert, sewerage and drainage disposal works etc.
Area of interest: Structural analysis and design.
