My greetings to all...
Over more than 14 years, the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Camellia Institute of Technology, Madhyamgram is successfully performing its roles of creating opportunities and producing talented and motivated human resources for the society. The Department works with the objective of addressing challenges faced by the industry, society and the institute and helping the students to learn, grow and achieve their goals.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering is the largest Department with more than 400 students. The Department has well experienced and dedicated faculties and technical assistants with strong commitment to provide up to date technical education both in B.Tech and Diploma Courses. The Department has updated laboratory facilities including CNC training units.

Keeping with the Department's vision, holistic development of the students towards knowledge, skill and responsibility is enforced so that they can contribute better to the society. Continuous development of teaching methodology for imparting practical mechanical engineering knowledge on state of the art technologies which include industrial hydraulics, pneumatics and lubrication.

Our teaching and learning level is continuously boosted by experts from industries and research organisations through workshops, seminars and conferences. The Department always provides conducive environments for the students to develop technical skills and soft skills throughout the entire course. The Department aims to guide students to excel in their inherent capability towards entrepreneurship and for higher studies.
