The Entrepreneurship Development cell (PRAYAS) and Industry Institute Partnership Cell (IIPC), are working jointly with Training and placement cell and Finishing School of Camellia Institute of Technology to shape the future of the students, by making them more industry ready. To create this skill based teaching learning platform for better placement and opportunities for the students, different professional bodies have came forward to guide our students. To name a few:
Aliah University:
The two MoUs were signed between Dr. Sk. Ashfaque Ali, Registrar of Aliah University and Prof Dr. Saghamitra Chatterjee, Principal - CIT and Raju Chhetri, Registrar - CSET in the presence of senior officials of Camellia Group and Aliah University. Civil Engineering Department of Aliah University and the Civil Engineering Department of Camellia Institute of Technology (CIT) and Camellia School of Engineering & Technology (CSET) will collaborate among themselves to enrich the teaching-learning process, focusing on student and faculty exchange programmes, Joint Research Work, Research Guidance and Publications, Joint Seminars, Workshops and conferences, New Laboratory Development and assistance in Quality Enhancement Drives.
KALYANI INSTITUTE OF LINGUISTICS:
Kalyani Institute of Linguistics has signed a MoU with the Camellia Institute of Technology over Japanese language courses on 6th December,2019. CIT is offering Japanese language course from N5 level to N3 level in collaboration with Kalyani Institute of Linguistics,WB. On successfull completion of N5 level course, students will be elligible for JAPANESE VISA and can fly to Japan for further study on Japanese language(level N4 to N1). Each student can avail a part time job while studying this language course in Japan. Student will get a permanent job based on their qualification after completion of N3 level course both in India and Japan.
CII-YI YUVA:
Young Indians (Yi) Yuva has signed a MoU with the Camellia group on 3rd August, 2017 at the Camellia Institute of Technology, Madhyamgram. Yi Yuva will be mentoring over 1000 students from Camellia Group.
The MoU signing was held in the presence of almost 500 students. Mr Nilratan Datta (Chairman – Camellia Group), Ms Alifiya Calcuttawala (Chair - Yi Kolkata Chapter), Mr Arpit Dhandhania (Co-Chair - YUVA) and Mr Rishi Jain (Chair – YUVA) were present at the MoU signing ceremony. The MOU was signed by Ms Namrata Datta (Vice Chairman – Camellia Group), Ms Alifiya Calcuttawala (Chair - Yi Kolkata Chapter) and Tanya D’Costa (Executive Member – Yi)
The Young Indians (Yi) is an integral part and strategic partner of the Confederation of Indian Industry formed in the year 2002 with an objective of creating a platform for young Indians to realize the dream of a developed nation. It has around 13000 direct & indirect members in 40 chapters (cities) across 27 states in India. Yi has around 2000 direct members & over 15000 indirect members in 38 city chapters and engages around 11000 students under the brand ‘Yuva’.
Yi includes young progressive Indians between the age group of 21 & 40 comprises of entrepreneurs, professionals and achievers from different walks of life. "To become the Voice of Young Indians Globally" being the vision of Yi, it provides a platform for young Indians to participate in and contribute by becoming an integral part of the India growth story under its 3 main pillars of ‘Youth Leadership’, ‘Nation Building’ and ‘Thought Leadership.
INSDAG:
The "Institute for Steel Development & Growth" (INSDAG) has come forward to guide our students in Steel Insdustry related Industry projects, arranging for Industry Visits and special classes on industry operations etc.. A MoU has been signed on February 18, 2016.
NEN:
National Entrepreneurship Network, Wadhwani Foundation guide our students to inculcate Entrepreneurial Mindset. This Mindset and the skill provided, are not only necessary to set up and run own business, but also very much helpful to be successful as a serviceman in industry. We have association with Wadhwani Foundation since long back and also have been able to produce few Entrepreneurs who have shown excellence in their field. We also run WF courses, e.g WF100, to provide the students knowledge beyond the book, to make them familiar with the realities of the industry. CIT has also signed MoU with Wadhwani Foundation.
Kolkata Ventures:
Kolkata Ventures has come forward to guide student Entrepreneurs from our institute. They will provide all necessary guidance and hand holding to the student Entrepreneurs. They also arrange development programs for students and faculties. They have created the bridge between CIT and IIT Kharagpur Incubation Cell. A MoU has been signed with then on May 27, 2017.
WADHWANI FOUNDATION:
WADHWANI FOUNDATION has come forward to guide student Entrepreneurs from our institute. They will provide all necessary guidance and hand holding to the student Entrepreneurs. They also arrange development programs for students and faculties. A MoU has been signed with them on April 26, 2018.
CALYXPOD:
This institution has come forward to help the final year students for better placement and to ease the operation of Training and Placement Cell. The MoU has been signed on May 30, 2017.
NASSCOM:
This institution has come forward to help the final year students for conduct of foundation skill in IT (FSIT). The MoU has been signed on February 19, 2015.
ELEATION:
ELEATION has come forward to provide internship and training to the students of CAMELLIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY. The MoU has been signed on November 1, 2021.
Catosoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd.:
Catosoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has come forward to provide internship and training to the students of Camellia Institute of Technology. The MoU has been signed on September 10, 2021.
INTERNSHALA:
INTERNSHALA has come forward to provide internship and training to the students of CAMELLIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY. The MoU has been signed on September 13, 2021.
Aashman Foundation:
Aashman Foundation has come forward to provide internship and training to the students of Camellia Institute of Technology. The MoU has been signed on October 25, 2021.
