BASIC SCIENCE & HUMANITIES HOD's Profile

Dr. Biswajit Singha is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Head, Department of Basic Science & Humanities, Camellia Institute of Technology (MAKAUT). He completed his B. Sc(Hons), M. Sc and Ph. D from Calcutta University. He is working on the field of water pollution, Toxicology, ANN etc. and published 20 research papers in the above mentioned fields which received more than 850 citations from different International journals and presented 35 research papers in the National/International conferences. He is also published one International book chapter. Two research scholars are working under his guidance. He received "Young scientist award" from Indian Chemical Society in the year of 2011. Presently Dr. Singha is engaged as guest faculty in the department of Radio Physics & Electronics, University of Calcutta. He is a Life Member of Indian Science Congress Association.
